Items we don't accept; maternity, sneakers, any potty items, stuffed animals, any clothing older than five years or any old Gymboree item with this label....

You MUST bring your items for drop off in size order and separated by boy/girl. DO NOT mark sizes as S, M, or L. Put a number size on each item!

Please press your clothing....presentation is everything! Wrinkly, messy-looking clothing will not sell quicker than nice, neat pressed clothing.

Preparing Your Items
These tips for tagging your items come from years of experience and will result in better sales!

When you print your tags use the heaviest paper you can for best results. 60# card stock works great.

Tops and dresses:
Should hang as shown with the hanger hooking to the left like a question mark. Tag is on the right as you face the garment. Please use safety pins... NOT straight pins or clothes pins. Use appropriately sized hangers for the size garment you are hanging.

Shorts and pants:
DO NOT fold pants over the hanger. They should be safety-pinned to the top arms of a wire hanger or on a clip-type pants hanger.

Two-piece sets:
Hang the pants as described, then put the top over them. Please do not pin the pants directly to the shirt. The weight after several days will make holes in your garment!

Shoes/socks:
Avoid baggng shoes in ziplocs if at all possible, they are very hard to see. Tie laces together, or use ribbon thru the eyes to tie them. The best way to tie them is to use zip-ties (sometimes known as Ty-wraps). Big Lots sells them in bags of 50 for 99 cents. We do NOT sell sneakers unless they are new. You may put socks in ziploc bags in size lots. Only socks in excellent condition will be accepted.
Toys:
Please remember when tagging toys that unsupervised hands will most likely be trying to remove those tags. Since we dont remove tags at checkout, use your tape unmercifully. Use packing tape, NOT Scotch tape. Put all pieces in ziplocs and tape the daylights out of it. On larger items, attach more than one tag. Remember that if an item doesn't have a tag we can't sell it!

Baby Equipment/Furniture:
Plan to assemble your crib at drop-off or bring it already assembled. Cribs in pieces are hard to sell. Law dictates that used mattresses cannot be sold unless they are included with a crib. Please attach more than one tag to large items in case one gets lost. Use plenty of packing tape and dont worry about the tag being difficult to remove. We don't remove tags at checkout.

Bibs, Onesies, Crib Sheets, Blankets:
Try to avoid ziplocs and tag each item individually with a safety pin. You may pin several bibs or onesies together and price as a lot, ziplocs are hard to see through and your items will sell better if they can be seen and felt!
